Does RaoGST work without an internet connection?
Yes, 100%! All your product catalog items, bills, customer khata ledgers, and thermal prints work completely offline using an encrypted local SQLite database on your Android phone or tablet. Internet is only required if you optionally choose to sync backups to Google Drive.
Which thermal printers are compatible with RaoGST?
RaoGST supports all standard 58mm (2-inch) and 80mm (3-inch) Bluetooth ESC/POS wireless thermal printers (such as TVS, Epson, Everycom, NGX, POSIFLEX, and generic mini printers available on Amazon / Flipkart). No special drivers are needed.
How does Composition CMP-08 filing assistance work?
Under the Settings or Invoices tab, filter by "Quarterly". RaoGST automatically aggregates all outward taxable sales, applies the official 1% composition tax rate (0.5% CGST + 0.5% SGST), and generates a ready-to-copy summary matching Table 3 of Form GST CMP-08 for filing on gst.gov.in.
How can I restore my data if I change my phone?
Go to Settings ➔ "3-Day Backup" and tap "Create Instant Backup". You can either share the backup file to your own WhatsApp/Email or connect your Google Drive account. On your new phone, install RaoGST, tap "Scan Folders" or "Choose File", and your entire shop data will be restored in seconds!
